Man found dead inside BMW on PR-199 highway in Cupey
A man was shot and found dead inside a BMW vehicle on PR-199, opposite the Alturas de Cupey residential area. The Homicide Division is investigating the case.
Shooting victim in Cupey identified by physical features and clothing
According to wapa.tv, police described the victim of the murder that occurred on Tuesday at 6:16 p.m. on PR-199 highway in Cupey on Wednesday, where officers found a black BMW vehicle with bullet impacts and a lifeless man inside.
According to the officers who secured the scene, the deceased was fair-skinned, with brown eyes, short, brown, wavy hair, and wore a goatee. He was estimated to weigh approximately 180 pounds and measured 5 feet 10 inches tall.
At the time of the incident, he was wearing black underwear with the word "SUPREME", a blue t-shirt with a bear logo, multicoloured shorts with a rose design, and black and red Nike trainers with matching black long socks. He also wore gold-coloured spectacles with white stones in both ears and multiple tattoos on his left leg.
According to preliminary information, the man was travelling in the BMW when occupants of another vehicle shot at him opposite the Alturas de Cupey residential area. He died as a result of his injuries. Police were alerted through the 911 emergency system and mobilised to the scene.
The case is under investigation by officer Jonnelys De La Cruz Ramos, assigned to the Homicide Division of the CIC in San Juan, along with prosecutor Juan Mencacci Bagú.
