A 33-year-old man died and another was injured following a shooting that occurred on Thursday night in the El Culebrina neighbourhood of San Sebastián.

An armed attack that occurred near midnight on Thursday in San Sebastián claimed the life of a 33-year-old man and left another individual injured, reported Telemundo Puerto Rico.
The deceased was identified as Enrique Vargas Farias. The incident took place on Calle Flamboyán, within the El Culebrina neighbourhood, at approximately 11:45 p.m.
Authorities received an alert through the 9-1-1 emergency system regarding gunshots in the sector. When officers arrived at the scene, they found two people with bullet wounds in various parts of their bodies.
Vargas Farias died en route to the hospital. The other person affected remains hospitalised; information about his clinical condition has not yet been disclosed.
The case is being investigated by the Aguadilla Homicide Division, with the participation of the on-duty prosecutor.
