Two men arrested with five kilograms of hashish, firearm and €10,000 in Ameixoeira
The PSP arrested two men for drug trafficking in Lisbon. The suspects were in possession of cocaine, heroin, hashish, cash and a firearm.
Drug trafficking in plain sight in Ameixoeira ends with two arrests
The PSP arrested two men, aged 28 and 39, in Ameixoeira, Lisbon, suspected of drug trafficking on public streets, according to CNN Portugal.
The two were selling narcotics directly on the street and had a location where they stored the remainder of their stock. It was at that location that officers seized the majority of the material.
In total, approximately five kilograms of hashish, cocaine, heroin, more than €10,000 in cash, a 9-millimetre calibre firearm and various ammunition were recovered.
One of the suspects had previous criminal convictions.
The two men were brought before a court on Wednesday afternoon and were subject to the precautionary measure of periodic reporting.
