A crime prevention operation by the PSP in the Olaias area of Lisbon resulted in the arrest of two 20-year-old women. The pair, who are childhood friends, are suspected of running a drug-selling operation in that area of the capital.
During the police action, officers seized thousands of doses of narcotics from the two women. Given the seriousness of the offences and the material seized, the judicial authorities determined that both should be remanded in custody.
