Former PJ Inspector Barred from Entering Operation Influencer
João de Sousa, a former Judiciária Police inspector already convicted of corruption and of fabricating a crime scene in the Rosa Grilo case, attempted to constitute himself as an assistant in Operation Influencer. Investigating judge Nuno Dias Costa rejected the request.
The Public Prosecution Service contested João de Sousa's intention, arguing that the former inspector merely intended to serve personal interests, according to Correio da Manhã.
