GNR arrests 51-year-old man caught red-handed during robbery of annexe in Torres Vedras
The GNR in Santa Cruz, Torres Vedras, has arrested a 51-year-old man caught red-handed whilst robbing an annexe of a residential property. He was in possession of stolen taps, aluminium profiles and windows.

A 51-year-old man was captured by the Guarda Nacional Republicana (GNR) in Santa Cruz, in the municipality of Torres Vedras, whilst committing a robbery of a residential annexe. The arrest took place red-handed.
The force was alerted to the crime on Monday. Upon arriving at the scene, officers surprised the thief in possession of various items stolen from the owner. Among the seized goods were six taps, five aluminium profiles intended for windows and two stainless steel windows.
All the stolen items were returned to their legitimate owners. The suspect was taken into GNR custody, awaiting transfer to court to be heard at his first judicial examination.
