31-year-old man arrested in Matosinhos for online cannabis sale
Judicial Police arrested the owner of a smartshop that operated exclusively online. Eleven kilograms of cannabis flowers and 1.7 kilograms of resin were seized.
31-year-old man arrested in Matosinhos for online cannabis sale
The Judicial Police (PJ) arrested a 31-year-old individual in the Matosinhos area, in the Porto district, on suspicion of selling cannabis through an online shop.
The arrested man is the owner of a smartshop that operated exclusively on the internet. The arrest took place when the man received a postal package from a European country containing 1.4 kilograms of cannabis resin.
In the course of the investigation, PJ officers seized a total of 11 kilograms of cannabis flowers and tops, in addition to 1.7 kilograms of resin from the same substance. Material used for packaging and distributing the product was also confiscated.
The case was referred to the Judicial Court of Porto.
