Flight on foot from PSP reveals hashish haul in Seixal
A 27-year-old man was detained by the PSP in Seixal following a police approach that ended with the seizure of nearly two thousand doses of hashish, reports Correio da Manhã.
The detention took place last Friday when officers from the Intervention and Police Inspection Squad noticed the suspect hurriedly leaving a car park upon realising the presence of police.
Intercepted shortly afterwards, the man showed visible nervousness. A search of the vehicle revealed two boxes containing 1982.12 doses of hashish. Two mobile phones and 40 euros in cash were also seized.
Brought before court, the defendant was made subject to periodic reporting conditions.
