The Public Security Police arrested an individual in Espinho, in Aveiro district, after he forced his way into the home of a woman resident and poured alcohol on the floor with the purpose of starting a fire.
The incident occurred in the presence of the police officers themselves, who were at the location. The suspect forced entry into the victim's residence and, before the PSP officers, spread alcohol across the floor with the objective of starting a fire.
The rapid intervention of the authorities prevented the fire from spreading. The detainee was taken into police custody and awaits the application of appropriate bail measures.
