A 43-year-old man was arrested by PSP in Caldas da Rainha, in the district of Leiria, after physically assaulting three citizens in a public place. The incidents occurred on Thursday afternoon, outside the city's Social Security office.
According to information from PSP Leiria, the individual went to the location to conduct business at the public service. After leaving, he assaulted two women and one man who were on the street. The victims suffered injuries that required hospital care.
Police were called to the scene and proceeded to arrest the suspect. The man was brought before a court on Friday, where the judge ordered the remand in custody measure.
The case is being investigated by Leiria's Police Division of PSP.
