16-year-old shot in abdomen at Tires Festival in Cascais
A teenager was injured by gunfire during the closing of the first night of the Tires Festival. The Judicial Police is investigating the case.

Shot during Tires Festival after Anselmo Ralph concert
A 16-year-old adolescent was shot in the abdomen in the early hours of Saturday, at the end of the first night of the Tires Festival in the municipality of Cascais, according to Correio da Manhã.
The incident occurred around 00h20, when thousands of people were dispersing after a concert by singer Anselmo Ralph. The minor appeared at a team of Parede firefighters, which was part of the event's prevention force, with abdominal injuries. A Medical Emergency Vehicle (VMER) from Cascais was activated and stabilised him on site before transport to Santa Maria Hospital in Lisbon, where he was admitted.
PSP collects ammunition and knife at scene
A PSP source told Correio da Manhã that the exact circumstances of the crime remain unknown. At the scene, officers collected a 6.35 mm calibre ammunition cartridge and a knife that the young man was carrying with him. The adolescent had attended the event accompanied by friends and has a history of institutionalisation.
According to Cascais24Horas, the young man may have been part of a youth gang that, two years ago, committed violent robberies on the Cascais seafront.
Witness describes panic among those present
A witness present at the scene on the night of the incident reported to Correio da Manhã the climate of panic that ensued: "Everyone was running away. I also started running. I feared for my life."
The same source added that violence at the Tires Festival is not new: "Every year there is violence."
The circumstances of the crime are being investigated by the Judicial Police.
