A 21-year-old was detained by Lisbon PSP eleven days after committing a violent assault against a food delivery courier in the Marvila area.

A 21-year-old was detained by investigators from Lisbon PSP, eleven days after committing a violent assault against a food delivery courier in the Marvila area.
The crime occurred on 18 June. The assailant used physical force to intimidate the victim, taking all of his personal belongings. The victim was working as a food delivery courier at the time of the attack.
The Public Security Police were tasked with investigating the case. Following investigative work, officers were able to identify and locate the suspect, proceeding with his detention on 29 June.
The detainee was brought to court to be heard by a criminal investigation judge. In light of the evidence collected by the authorities, the magistrate decided to apply the most serious coercive measure, determining that the young man remain in pre-trial detention pending trial.
