The Santarém Court has ordered the remand in custody of a young man arrested by the Judicial Police for the rape of a 20-year-old woman he had met on social media, reported Correio da Manhã.
The crime occurred on 27 May at the aggressor's residence in Rio Maior, where the victim was sexually abused. After being brought before a judge, the suspect was remanded in custody.
