Thief caught red-handed during shop robbery in Porto
A 32-year-old man was detained by PSP in the city of Porto in the early hours of Thursday after breaking into a commercial establishment on Rua Santos Pousada.
The crime occurred at around 4:15 am. The suspect forced entry to the commercial space, but was intercepted by officers as he was preparing to leave. The police caught him red-handed.
In the possession of the individual were found packets of tobacco, lighters and cash, totalling 697.50 euros. All stolen goods were recovered by the authorities.
After being heard by a judge, the suspect was ordered to present himself daily to the competent authorities.
