According to Correio da Manhã, Diogo Silva was struck by five gunshots in broad daylight on 29 March 2024. The crime occurred in the middle of a public street in the Porto neighbourhood of Ramalde, and the circumstances point to an execution.
Suspect in prison, but silent
The suspect identified in connection with this case is currently detained, serving a sentence in a separate case. According to the same source, the individual has remained silent regarding Diogo Silva's murder and has not made any statements about the facts.
Case proceeds to court
The judicial proceedings relating to Diogo Silva's death are now heading to court. Susana Oliveira, who described to Correio da Manhã how the crime completely transformed her life, is calling for justice for her son.
