Three people were arrested following an intervention by security forces in the city of Lamego. The operation involved the execution of court warrants: three arrest warrants and nine search warrants, four of which were carried out at residences and the remaining five in vehicles.
The material seizure from the operation revealed the collection of 177 individual packages of cocaine, 66 of cannabis and 32 of heroin. In addition to these substances, officers collected approximately ninety grams of material intended to be mixed with drugs, as well as two bottles of nitrous oxide and four high-precision weighing instruments.
Among the confiscated items are also ten mobile phones, three blades intended for cutting narcotics, two tablet devices, two portable desktop computers, a bladed weapon, an extendable baton, a container of pepper spray, one projectile and 442.30 euros in cash.
The operation also resulted in the seizure of various means of transport: a passenger car, a quadricycle and three other motor vehicles. The individuals arrested were subsequently constituted as accused, with the case being sent for review by the Viseu Court of Justice.
