Four Colombian nationals were detained during the Rock in Rio festival in Lisbon on suspicion of multiple thefts. The PSP seized 32 mobile phones.
Four Colombian pickpockets detained at Rock in Rio in Lisbon remanded in custody
The Public Security Police detained four individuals of Colombian origin during the Rock in Rio festival in the Portuguese capital. The men are suspected of having committed various thefts during the course of the musical event.
During the operation, PSP officers managed to recover 32 mobile phones that had been stolen from festival participants. According to information released by Correio da Manhã, the detainees already had criminal records for identical offences committed in other European countries and are flagged at international level.
After being heard in their initial judicial interrogation, the four defendants were subjected to the most severe coercive measure: remand in custody.
