The court found proven crimes of aggravated rape and dozens of offences of qualified child pornography. Four young people known on digital platforms were punished with detention of between seven and eight years. The judicial decision was issued on Friday.
The victim was a teenager. During the attacks, the perpetrators filmed the minor, which aggravated the nature of the crimes. The panel of judges ordered payment of 50,000 euros in compensation for the damages caused. The hospital unit that provided assistance to the victim is also to be compensated.
The case took place in the Loures area, in the region of the capital. The recording and subsequent distribution of content involving the minor constituted a central part of the Public Prosecutor's Office accusation.
