An 18-year-old was detained by police in Cluj-Napoca, suspected of driving a vehicle without legal authorisation, under the influence of alcohol, and hitting a woman together with her infant, after which he disappeared from the scene.

Police in Cluj-Napoca detained an 18-year-old individual suspected of being at the wheel of a vehicle while intoxicated, despite not having legal authorisation to drive. The incident occurred after he allegedly struck a woman and an infant in a pram, subsequently abandoning the scene of the event.
Once identified by law enforcement, the suspect was tested for alcohol concentration in exhaled air, the result indicating 1.13 mg/l pure alcohol. Screening for psychoactive substances was negative.
