An official who worked in the local structure for issuing driving licences and registering vehicles in Neamț County has died following a violent attack committed by his own son. The incident occurred in the city of Piatra-Neamț, and the assailant is 22 years old.
According to reports published by TVR Info, law enforcement officials determined that everything erupted following a spontaneous disagreement between father and son. During the altercation, the young man struck his parent with a blade. Persons who were nearby reported that the victim called for help whilst being assaulted.
After the man fell to the ground, the assailant left the area for a short period. Subsequently, he returned and continued to strike. Prosecutors at the Neamț Court Prosecutor's Office are coordinating the investigation and attempting to clarify all the details that led to this death.
