Second pig's head found at Marius Lulea's firm in Tunari, police investigate
A second pig's head was discovered on Tuesday at the headquarters of a firm associated with Marius Lulea. Lulea suspects George Simion, an accusation rejected by the AUR leader.

Second pig's head at Lulea's firm, two days after incident at home
Aktual24.ro reports that a second pig's head was discovered on Tuesday morning at the headquarters of a commercial company in Tunari, a locality where the former AUR vice-chairman Marius Lulea also has his residence. The discovery comes two days after a similar incident on Sunday, 18 October, when a pig's head was left at the gate of his home.
The first incident was accompanied by the appearance of a poster with a character that Lulea interpreted as threatening. The politician filed a complaint with the police, and investigators from Ilfov began their inquiries, including the analysis of images from surveillance cameras.
According to Lulea's statements to România TV, the incidents do not represent ordinary acts of vandalism.
"This was the moment when I decided that this is not a simple threat, but we are talking about organised crime practices. I cannot solve such threats myself, I trust that the Romanian state will be able to guarantee the discovery of the truth, but also my safety and that of my family," Lulea stated.
The former AUR leader claimed that similar posters had appeared at the homes of some former collaborators and critics of George Simion and characterised the situation as a death threat. "Political debate should not be conducted in a criminal sphere, of threats," he added.
When asked by police whom he suspected, Lulea pointed to the AUR chairman. "The police asked me who I suspect, I nominated George Simion, knowing his past and his practices," said the former vice-chairman of the party.
Lulea further stated that Simion operates through a parallel network, without the involvement of party members. "It is a mafia-type practice that is not acceptable within the Romanian state," he said, adding that "Simion wants to intimidate me. He is not capable of dealing with political debate." These claims have not been confirmed by investigators, and no public evidence has been presented.
George Simion rejected the accusations from his former collaborator. "I call for rapid investigations and evidence, not televised verdicts," the AUR leader said following the first discovery. Mocking the accusations, Simion added: "If it continues for a few more days, I will probably also be guilty of the rain."
AUR spokesman Ștefăniță Avramescu stated that he does not understand what connection the party or its leadership could have with what Lulea is reporting. "If something happened there, then the authorities should do their job, analyse it, and those who are guilty of this should be held accountable," Avramescu said.
The incidents occur against the backdrop of an open conflict between Lulea and Simion, triggered following the removal of the co-founder from AUR's leadership and the public criticism he subsequently levelled at the party.
Police continue their investigation into the first incident. Regarding Tuesday's discovery, there is currently no official information regarding the identification of those responsible or any possible connection between the two incidents.
