Judges at the appeals court in Târgu Mureș confirmed, with finality, the decision of the lower court to keep Cristian Pomohaci in provisional detention. The ruling came after the artist's lawyers challenged the measure, requesting either its annulment or its replacement with a ban on leaving his residence. Details about the case were reported by TVRInfo.ro.

The singer was incarcerated in early summer of this year, following a proposal formulated by the territorial structure of DIICOT in the same city. A police raid at the address where the man lived led to the discovery of an envelope containing approximately 20 grammes of 3-CMC, a substance classified as a major risk narcotic, alongside a significant quantity of cash in various international currencies.

According to official statements by the Mureș County Police Inspectorate, investigations revealed suspicions that, in the period 2024-2026, the performer had obtained, kept and transferred to third parties various doses of psychotropic products with crystalline structure, intended for human consumption. This legal situation is added to another criminal case in which Pomohaci was already in detention, concerning accusations of sexual assault against an adolescent.

Mureș Court, through the investigating judge, had previously rejected submissions made by the legal team, arguing that there were sound reasons for maintaining the deprivation of liberty.
