Armed attack in Urziceni: two arrested, second gun still missing

Gunfire on street in Urziceni: two suspects in preventive arrest
ProTV News reports that two men aged 23 and 29 were placed in preventive arrest after they opened fire on several moving vehicles on a street in Urziceni, Ialomița County. No drivers were injured.
According to investigators, the attackers had a longstanding conflict with the three targeted drivers. One of them called 112 during the incident, thus alerting the police, who intervened and ended the confrontation.
Following investigations, police identified two other men involved in the incident — aged 24 and 37 — who were subsequently placed under judicial supervision.
The two who opened fire were initially detained for 24 hours. The court then ordered their preventive arrest for 30 days.
To date, investigators have recovered only one gun of the two used in the attack — a 9 millimetre calibre weapon with lethal ammunition. The second gun is still being sought.
The criminal case involves charges of unauthorised use of a weapon, damage to property and public disorder.
