According to ziarulamprenta.ro, a 22-year-old man from Techirghiol has been remanded in custody for 30 days after allegedly physically assaulting a 2-year-old girl, the daughter of his partner.
According to information provided by Constanța County Police Directorate, the incident allegedly occurred during the night of 30 to 31 May. An investigation conducted by police officers led to the man being detained on 31 May for 24 hours.
Subsequently, he was presented to the prosecutor on the case, who referred the matter to the court. The court approved the proposal for remand in custody for 30 days, and the man was placed in the Remand and Preventive Detention Centre.
The legal representative of the minor was handed a request to submit to the court for the issuance of a protection order.
