Man from Șelaru arrested for rape of employer's 5-year-old daughter
A 38-year-old man from Șelaru commune, Dâmbovița county, has been remanded in custody for 30 days after sexually abusing a 5-year-old girl. The incident occurred on 21 June, and the police were notified only on Friday.

A 38-year-old man from Șelaru commune, Dâmbovița county, has been remanded in preventive custody for 30 days after raping the 5-year-old daughter of the woman at whose home he was performing domestic work. According to News.ro, the incident occurred on 21 June, around 15:00, but the police were only notified on Friday.
The Dâmbovița County Police Inspectorate announced the suspect's detention on Friday evening, on suspicion of committing the offence of rape of a minor. "On 21 June, around 15:00, while at the home of a woman from Șelaru commune, where he was performing domestic activities, he allegedly sexually abused the homeowner's daughter, aged 5 years," the IPJ Dâmbovița stated.
The man was presented before the judge for rights and freedoms at Găești District Court, who ordered the measure of preventive arrest for 30 days.
The investigation continues under the coordination of the assigned prosecutor.
