Magistrates will pronounce a ruling on Monday regarding the restrictive measure applied to Viorel Pașca, his wife, their three children and a woman who supervised the activity of the units. All five are subject to a criminal case concerning the operation of assistance centres without authorisation in Bihor County.
Prosecutors are investigating how these structures operated. The court has discussed the possibility of depriving the defendants of liberty during the investigation. The sentence is to establish whether those involved will be imprisoned or will be subject to a less severe form of surveillance.
