Judges at Alba Tribunal have ordered the 30-day remand in custody of two individuals being investigated for dealing in prohibited substances. The searches were carried out by officers from the Alba Iulia BCCO.

Judges in Alba have decided on the temporary incarceration of two individuals for a period of 30 days, at the request of prosecutors from DIICOT. The operation targeted two separate criminal cases being handled by specialists from the Organised Crime Fighting Brigade.
The first suspect is 24 years old and was active in the Timișoara area. According to investigators, between March and May 2026, he allegedly brought, stored and sold high-risk drugs, specifically 2CMC crystalline substance, at amounts ranging between 450 and 800 lei. The illicit material sold by him was subsequently confiscated.
The second case concerns an individual aged 41, caught red-handed in Petroșani immediately after collecting two parcels from a courier company containing approximately four kilograms of cannabis. At his home, law enforcement officers found further quantities of the same plant, objects bearing traces of substance, plus additional evidence.
Both persons were initially detained, and the court subsequently ordered the remand in custody measure. Investigations continue under DIICOT supervision.
