Two drug dealers from Brașov arrested for 30 days after selling cannabis and crystal in Galați

Organised crime officers from Brașov Police have detained two suspects, aged 22 and 28, who were dealing drugs in Galați. Brașov Court has ordered the preventive arrest of both men for 30 days.

Organised crime officers from Brașov Police have dismantled a drug distribution network operating from Brașov to Galați municipality, according to Google News RO — Crime (ro). Two suspects have been detained and subsequently placed under preventive arrest.

The first case concerns a 22-year-old man who, in the period March–April 2026, allegedly procured, possessed and sold cannabis in Galați municipality at prices between 620 and 650 lei per portion.

The second case involves a 28-year-old suspect, active in the same period and in the same municipality. He allegedly sold both cannabis and 3CMC — known by the generic term "crystal" — for sums between 500 and 1,500 lei, depending on the quantity.

During the investigation, the illicit substances traded were rendered unavailable. On Tuesday, 23 June, officers conducted three searches, during which bags and containers bearing traces of substance, precision scales, sums of money in lei and other evidence were seized.

Both suspects were brought in and detained at police headquarters for 24 hours. On Wednesday, 24 June, Brașov Court ordered the preventive arrest of the two men for a period of 30 days.
