Police in Budapest are investigating the death of a 32-year-old resident doctor found unconscious in a hospital toilet in the capital on Saturday afternoon.

Police in the capital have launched an investigation after a 32-year-old resident doctor was found unconscious in a hospital toilet in Budapest on Saturday afternoon – reports Székelyhon.
Emergency crews arriving at the scene were unable to save the man's life. Law enforcement were alerted around 14:45. The incident occurred at Floreasca Emergency Hospital.
The investigation is coordinated by the prosecutor's office attached to the Bucharest Court of Justice. The body was transported to the forensic medicine institute for autopsy.
The Alliance of Multidisciplinary Resident Doctors expressed its condolences to the family of the deceased doctor in a post on a social network. The organisation drew attention to endless shifts, chronic exhaustion and the stigmatisation of mental health problems among medical staff.
