A prosecutor has been sent to trial after being found driving a motor vehicle under the influence of psychoactive substances on public roads in Giurgiu County in the night of 2 May 2025, according to ProTV News.

At around 02:25, a unit from the Giurgiu County Police Inspectorate – Traffic Service stopped the vehicle in traffic. Testing conducted on the spot indicated a positive result for amphetamine.

Toxicological analyses subsequently carried out by the National Institute of Legal Medicine "Mina Minovici" on biological samples collected the same night confirmed the presence in the body of several prohibited substances, including amphetamine and ketamine.
