Drug trafficking network in Arad used 10-year-old child for sales
Ten suspects in Arad were detained after using a 10-year-old minor for selling cannabis. Seven were remanded in custody by Arad Tribunal.

A criminal group in Arad used a 10-year-old child for drug distribution, announces Google News RO — Crime (ro), citing the County Police Inspectorate (IPJ) Arad. Ten suspects — nine men and one woman — were detained in a criminal investigation for trafficking in risk drugs and trafficking in high-risk drugs.
According to investigators, during this year, members of the group allegedly obtained, possessed, handled, intermediated and sold cannabis and crystalline substances — 3CMC, 4CMC and α-Ethylaminopenthiophenone — at prices ranging between 100 and 1,400 lei per transaction.
"The investigation revealed that two of the individuals, a man and a woman, members of the same family, allegedly marketed cannabis including through a 10-year-old minor," states the IPJ Arad communiqué.
Following 14 house searches carried out on Tuesday, quantities of plant and crystalline substances, grinders, precision scales and sums of money were seized. During the investigation, police officers also confiscated other drugs and psychoactive products traded by the suspects.
Prosecutors from the Directorate for the Investigation of Organised Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT) Arad ordered the detention of the ten individuals. Arad Tribunal subsequently approved the remand in custody of seven of them, whilst one woman was placed under house arrest.
The investigation concerns offences of trafficking in risk drugs, trafficking in high-risk drugs and carrying out operations with substances liable to produce psychoactive effects, without authorisation.
