A man from Bihor has been arrested for 30 days after attempting to take a seven-year-old child from a school in Aleșd, claiming he had been sent by the boy's father.

Digi24 reports that a man from Bihor county has been detained and subsequently arrested for 30 days after attempting to take a seven-year-old child from a school in Aleșd.
The incident occurred on Tuesday. The man presented himself at the school and told the teacher that he had been sent by the child's father — a couple of police officers — to take him home.
The pupil had already been collected by his parents before the man's arrival. Sensing the situation as suspicious, the teacher contacted the family, who confirmed that they had not sent anyone. The man was caught and questioned on the same day.
Police detained him, and subsequently the court ordered preventive arrest for 30 days. He is being investigated for attempted deprivation of liberty and has been subjected to a psychiatric evaluation.
