A 16-year-old registered at an address in the Stockholm area has been detained on probable cause suspected of murder, reports ekuriren.se. The detention hearing took place on Thursday, after which Eskilstuna District Court decided that the young man should be held in custody with restrictions.
The murder occurred at Nattkröken in Eskilstuna in February. Police have since been searching for the suspected shooter. At the end of April, another 16-year-old was already detained, suspected of gross harbouring of a criminal and gross weapons offences in connection with the incident.
– Finding the shooter is of course a focal point for us in the investigation, said prosecutor Henrik Skoglund to Eskilstuna-Kuriren at that time.
