A 22-year-old man in Kisa threatened a shop employee with a knife and forced her to hand over cash. He then contacted the police himself and confessed to the robbery.

The incident occurred shortly before 8 p.m. on 12 June this year. The man had disguised himself and approached the till with a sharp object in his hand. He pointed it at the woman working there and explained that it was a robbery. He demanded that she hand over the money.

The shop assistant initially thought it was a joke, some kind of student prank. She asked if he was joking, but the perpetrator repeated that he was serious and displayed the knife clearly. She then took out the cash she had available in the till.

No person was physically injured during the incident.

Shortly after the robbery, the 22-year-old man called the police himself and admitted what he had done. He was arrested and is now in custody. The prosecutor has brought charges for robbery.
