A 45-year-old man has been convicted of extensive sexual abuse of five children in the home. In total, the convictions cover 21 offences, including three rapes of children and five cases of serious sexual assault.
The social services received notifications of concern about what was occurring in the household during 2023 and 2024, but these led nowhere. It was not until February of this year that new information emerged, prompting the social administration to file a police report, according to Aftonbladet.
In addition to a prison sentence, the man must pay approximately one million kronor in compensation to the victims.
