A man was attacked with a sharp object at a house in rural southern Gothenburg. A woman in her 60s was arrested the same evening on suspicion of attempted murder.

Police were called on Tuesday afternoon to a house in rural southern Gothenburg municipality. At the address, a man had been attacked with a sharp object, writes SVT.
The man was conscious and able to speak when he was taken to hospital, according to police spokesperson Jens Andersson. His injuries were not considered life-threatening.
Based on what police observed at the scene, an investigation into attempted murder was launched. Crime scene technicians were sent to the scene of the crime and interviews were conducted with people in the area.
Shortly before 8 p.m. the same evening, a woman in her 60s was arrested. She had early attracted police interest. The authorities were unwilling to disclose what type of weapon was used.
