A man in his twenties was taken to Kungälv hospital by a private individual in a car along with another injured man. He died in hospital after being injured in an incident at Hawaii beach in Stenungsund during the night, according to Aftonbladet.
During the night, police cordoned off a large area at the beach to allow forensic technicians to examine the scene. Evidence was secured and during the morning, two men of the same age as the victim were arrested.
Both arrested men are now suspected of murder and attempted murder after several people were involved in violent altercations at the beach.
Despite the serious incident, beach life returned to normal the following day. Christopher Hansson, external commander at police in Fyrbodal, visited the scene during the evening to work on investigative measures and stated that police are working intensively on the case.
