Police in Halmstad have discovered a dead person at Fylleån. The incident is now being treated as a possible fatal crime, according to Hallandsposten.
During the day, a tip reached the authorities. Both emergency services personnel and police travelled to the location in question.
– We received an alert about a person in the area around Fylleån. Both the rescue service and police have been to the location that was specified, says Fredrik Svedemyr, police spokesperson, to the newspaper.
The deceased has not yet been identified. At present, no person is reasonably suspected of the crime.
A preliminary investigation into causing death has been opened. Further details about what happened have not been released.
