A thirty-year-old woman resident in Orsa municipality has been ordered to serve six months in prison after the court found her guilty of drug offences and serious driving without a licence. The sentence came after police stopped her at a traffic control and discovered illegal drugs.
During a house search or body search, police also found documents which, according to the district court, constituted records of the sale of the drugs. The woman has, however, denied that she sold the drugs further.
The court nonetheless sided with the prosecutor and sentenced her for both possession with intent to sell and for driving a vehicle without a valid licence.
