Police launched a search operation in the morning after two individuals failed to return from a trip at sea. The search led to the boat being traced on Vättern, where the man was found to be dead while the woman was found alive.
Because the circumstances surrounding the death are unclear, a prosecutor has initiated an investigation into murder. The detained woman denies the allegations.
Prosecutor Clara Åbyhammar states that work now continues with technical analyses and interviews.
Before noon on Saturday, the prosecutor must either request that the woman be held in custody or allow her to leave police custody.
