Following a major police operation, a woman has been arrested in Huddinge. She is suspected of assaulting a man in a public place with a sharp object. The investigation is being treated as attempted murder.
The man has injuries to the back of his head and was taken to hospital by ambulance. It has not been established whether the two people had a prior relationship.
– We have a suspect, but we still need to clarify what happened and why, says Carina Skagerlind of the police.
The police continue to secure evidence at the scene and a forensic examination will be carried out.
