A woman in her 30s died at an address in Gullspång municipality on Sunday. Police were alerted after healthcare staff at the location contacted them.
The emergency call to SOS came shortly after 11 a.m. on Sunday morning. According to reports to Expressen, it involved a woman who had suffered suspected cardiac arrest. When healthcare staff arrived at the address, police were contacted.
Police do not rule out crime in view of the unclear circumstances surrounding the death. A preliminary investigation into murder has been initiated.
A man in his 50s was arrested at the scene and is suspected of murder, according to Otto Eriksson at the police for Mariestads-Tidningen.
