Police received a report of a confrontation between two people inside a flat in Staffanstorp during the night leading into Saturday. Two women were found at the address who had engaged in a physical altercation. One had sustained bleeding wounds to the head, according to a statement from police.
A few minutes after midnight, one of the women was taken to the police station. Later, the prosecutor decided to remand her in custody on suspicion of aggravated assault.
The injured party did not need to be taken away by ambulance.
