A man was discovered dead at a wooded area near Skärmarbrink underground station in southern Stockholm early on Tuesday morning, reports svt.se. A murder investigation has been opened and three people have been arrested.

District prosecutor Karin Hammar confirms the arrests and states that the suspicions currently concern murder.

– This involves reasonable suspicion of murder at present. During the morning I will probably decide whether we should request detention, Hammar tells Mitti.

The major police operation began at seven o'clock on Tuesday morning.
