A 25-year-old man was arrested overnight into Sunday, suspected of aggravated assault and rape. The incident is said to have taken place in Djursholm in Danderyd municipality.
Police received a report that a man had assaulted his girlfriend and also locked her out of their residence. Following a search, police were able to locate the woman.
The man was arrested later at a different address and was remanded into custody by the prosecutor on Sunday.
