Man dies after knife fight in Stenungsund – two arrested
A man in his twenties died at Kungälv hospital following a fight in Stenungsund overnight into Thursday. Two other men have been arrested on suspicion of involvement.

Knife fight in Stenungsund ends in death
A man in his twenties has died as a result of a fight in Stenungsund, reports Aftonbladet. Police received an alert about the incident at around 01:00 overnight into Thursday.
Two men in their twenties were taken to Kungälv hospital with injuries from a sharp object. One of them had such serious injuries that he could not be saved.
– The condition was severe, particularly for one of them. He received emergency care, but had such serious injuries that his life could not be saved, says Jens Andersson, police spokesperson.
The other man is reported not to have life-threatening injuries.
What triggered the incident has not yet been established. According to Andersson, the circumstances suggest that the parties met at the location as a result of a previous conflict, which then escalated into violence.
Two other men in their twenties have been arrested on suspicion of involvement. Police are investigating the case as suspected murder.
