A 45-year-old man died at hospital after being found unresponsive in Söderhamn on Thursday afternoon, Aftonbladet reports. A 50-year-old woman, who herself had sustained injuries, called the police shortly after 2pm.
– A 45-year-old man was found unresponsive at the scene and was taken to hospital, says Magnus Jansson Klarin, the police press spokesperson, to TT.
During the evening it was confirmed that the man had died. The woman's injuries were not assessed as life-threatening.
A 55-year-old man, who was at the scene when police arrived, was arrested immediately and is suspected of murder and assault.
– There is reason to believe that the three knew each other, says Magnus Jansson Klarin.
