A 45-year-old man has died in hospital following a violent incident in Söderhamn on Thursday, according to gp.se. A man in his 55s was arrested directly at the scene, suspected of murder and assault.
Police were called shortly after 2 p.m. by a woman in her 50s, who was herself found with injuries when police arrived. Her injuries were not assessed as life-threatening.
The 45-year-old man was found lifeless and taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead during the evening.
"There is reason to believe that the three knew each other," says Magnus Jansson Klarin, the police's press officer, to TT.
