Police arrested a man in his 60s after a brawl in a community hall in Nyfors, Eskilstuna. A younger man was injured with a sharp object.

A man of retirement age is now being held on suspicion of attempting to kill another person in Sörmland's largest city. The arrest took place in the early hours of Wednesday in the residential area of Nyfors.
Police received a call shortly after midnight about a disturbance in a premises used by community organisations. At the scene, officers found a middle-aged person who had been inflicted with injuries from a sharp weapon.
– It is a defensive injury we are talking about. I cannot comment on the severity, explains Michael Lindqvist at the emergency control centre for the police's eastern region.
