When the patrol arrived, he walked straight towards them with the weapon raised. Police then decided to use their service weapons. The man was shot in the lower body, but the injuries were not life-threatening. He was taken to the nearest hospital for treatment.
Police spokesman Leif Fransson described the situation as chaotic and noted that many bystanders witnessed what happened.
